Story about Hajdu-Cheney Syndrome .

Surprise

Jul 18, 2017

When I was about 16 years old I had a broken finger.  The Doctor put a splint on it, but it never healed and no one could understand why.

Fast fwd a few years later and had another tip of one of my fingers break and went to the Mayo Clinic and was diagnosed there.  I saw Dr Pamela Karnes, although I don't think she is there any longer.

So, one by one, all the tips of my fingers broke, in stages until they were all broken, as well as some toes broken.

Within a few years I had some major back issues as well, which caused a lot of pain, and eventually, this led to having to be on disability and pain pills to manage the pain.

Just recently been diagnosed with stage 3, close to 4 kidney disease, so facing some new challenges.
