Although I wasn't diagnosed until 2014, my symptoms indicate I've had Thyroid autoimmune disease for more than 20 years. I'm struggling to find a good MD in Chicagoland who specializes in thyroid autoimmune treatment with a holistic approach. Drugs alone are not enough. Diet, proper supplements for vitamins, minerals, nutrients, enzymes, etc., and finding the root cause are key to managing the disease.
