Is it easy to find a partner and/or maintain relationship when you have Hashimotos Disease?
People with experience in Hashimotos Disease give their opinion on whether it is easy or not to have a partner or to maintain a realationship when you are diagnosed of Hashimotos Disease. What are the possible difficulties in having a relationship?
Relationships and chronic illness (not just Hashimoto's) are not an easy road. The best thing for your relationship is to be open and honest with your partner. Sometimes allowing them to come to appointments and ask your Dr questions can help. Don't isolate yourself. Make sure your partner knows what is going on in your head. Also remember that just like being sick is hard loving someone who is sick is equally hard.
