How did all start?
This all started about 5 years ago, went into remission and came back 2 years ago and never left
Do you already have a diagnosis? How long did it take you to get it?
Yes I have been diagnosed. I think this is something I’ve had for years but was always treated for a sinus condition. I was finally diagnosed 5 years ago
For what medical specialties have you been treated? What has been the most useful specialty for your?
I have been treated with everything they’ve got. Botox, nerve blocks, ivs, you name I’ve had it. I am allergic to NSAIDs and narcotics! My saving grace is bosweilla
What has been the most useful thing for you so far?
Bosweilla
What have been your biggest difficulties?
Working, had to leave my job! Not being able to make plans. And not being able to go out to the beach, park etc because of eye problems with the sun
How has your social and family environment reacted? Have your social or family relationships changed?
Yes very much so! Friends stay away and most family doesn’t understand
What things have you stopped doing?
Reading, going to the beach, camping with my grandchildren, and making plans
What do you think about the future?
The future at Tim’s look bleak it I try to keep my head up
What would you like to do if you didn’t have your condition?
Go to the beach
If you had to describe your life in a sentence, what would it be?
I feel like a prisoner
