My husband was diagnosed with hep c at the time we and the do,goes didn't think it was that bad. He has no liver damage. Fast forward to August 2017 he broke out in a rash which Dr thought was just an allergic reaction. Gabe steroids and it went away for a very short period of time. Finally went to our GP. Nurse practitioner and they ordered an ultrasound. Found out he has cirrhosis. Been testing ever since ro get him places on the waiting list for a transplant. Needless to say I'm in shock so his he. Life was going well almost ready to retire and this happens. Now all plans are on hold. We didn't think we'd be thinking about endstage liver disease or end of life.
