IH is hard to explain to anyone and nobody believes you anyways. I was always tired and they ran every single test I could think of and finally one day a doctor suggested I get a sleep study done. The sleep study showed nothing so they set me up for a repeat study with an MSLT and that's where my world came crashing down. They had finally discovered that I had IH and from then on I have been on to search for something to make me feel better because to me my meds only a temporary fix and they come with horrible side effects and extreme highs and lows. I'm still waiting and helpful!!!
