Which are the symptoms of Inappropriate Sinus Tachycardia?
Symptoms of Inappropriate Sinus Tachycardia reported by real patients, from the most common to the most limiting, plus a medically reviewed summary with sources.
The first symptoms I would get rid of are the erratic heart beats, resting at average over 100 bpm, the shortness of breath, and angina are my top 3. From there it's the anxiety of what's going on, will this stop, etc.
Being chronically exhausted is worse to me than actually passing out. Not to mention the depression that comes with realizing that you can't do everything that you used to do. Realizing that you're missing out on events with your friends and family.
The worst symptoms of Inappropriate Sinus Tachycardia tend to be the following:
* Sinus Tachycardia (Fast, rhythmic heart rate)
* Palpitations (Sensation of feeling your heartbeat)
* Chest Pain
* Dizziness
While this is not an exhaustive list, the above symptoms tend to be the ones that cause the most disruption of day-to-day life and disturbance of the patient.
headache, shortness of breath, pain in the chest, pain in the left arm, fatigue on the left side, sleep and fatigue, intolerance to stress and exercise.
The 1st symptom that needs treatment is the fast heart rate. Next would be keeping adrenaline at bay with a beta blocker. Finally the most important symptom that needs attention would be the overwhelming fatigue.
