I was diagnosed with Intracranial Hypertension in 2012 but was having symptoms for years. My doctor was "experimenting" on me with different migraine medications and even insisted I was making it all up because I was stressed. He prescribed me anxiety medications instead. I grew tired of being experimented on and went to the eye doctor thinking thats where my eye pain etc was coming from. That was the day I knew something was REALLY wrong. She scheduled me an emergency MRI and that was that.. my neuro made me think I was dying so I went through a deep depression for some time. I've come out of that and am trying to maintain my health.
