_I've never been the biggest fan of doctors. Still, my mom urged on. Every woman in my family went through puberty by 14 the absolute latest, while my 16th birthday had gone and past, and I was further from that day than my 17th birthday. Finally I gave in, and after a visit with my primary I was refered to an endocrinologist. This guy is a jerk, and knows very little about Kallmann, so I have been looking to switch. However, the one thing he did do for me was my diagnosis. After asking some questions, including the quality of my sense of smell he asked a coworked who told him that I have Kallmann. His recommendation was to start hormones in the form of a patch. Since then I have developed a tad more, I am a little bit more confident in my relationship. Before hormones I didnt want to be physical at all, even in regards to kissing. After I started them I am a little more comfortable and feel more like a normal teenager._
