XXY Society is the world's first global, international social media network society for people with 47XXY / Klinefelter Syndrome. We operate completely free, mainly out of Facebook with the largest social media, confidential discussion group and one of the largest public pages. Our confidential group is for the extensive, confidential discussion of XXY, or anything else :). We exist because together, we're stronger. Variations of XXY like XXXY are welcome :).
We welcome, and have as members those with the condition, family of those with the condition, their partners, their friends and supporters pushing for equality for those with KS. At this time we do not accept minors (under 18) into our group as we cannot guarantee 24/7 moderation, but minors can ask questions to the separate charity AXXYS, by emailing [email protected] .
If you request to join, your membership will be vetted. We are a volunteer run group. Administrators do not appreciate being publicly or privately messaged if it is within 8 weeks of your request, which is our average waiting period. It may result in your membership being permanently declined. Upon acceptance you should read the guidelines (which are pinned) before you post ❤️. Our members often offer newer members advice and support, but we are a discussion group, and any support you may be offered is discretional on your own good behaviour. Being offered help is often based on you holding to the values of the group, such as togetherness; the value of being a team player, and joining in discussions.
To start the journey to be admitted to our private free confidential group, please join the public (visible to anyone) Facebook Page without a waiting period at https://www.facebook.com/xxysociety/ . To be kept in the loop on international, national and local events to attend, create your own meet ups and events, and form area groups with others, we recommend the public facebook page - for maximum success. The separate public Facebook page also provides a basic wall for discussion (please note that any discussion on the page will be public - a limitation of Facebook, for private conversations- people can only see you're a member, nothing else, use this group only).
Once you've liked the public page you'll find a sign up link for our discussion group.
