I was born in 1957, the third child. My mother lost 2  I think. in between me and my sisters. I struggled to add muscle tone in my teens and developed the "pear" shape.. I used to play Rugby /swim & Ski.. When my Father died I went to see myy doctor and he did a blood test .. I thought I was simply under the weather  and I was also mourning his passing . The Doctor was very on the ball. He did a blood test to see if they was anything else to be concerned about ... This picked up the anomoly - I was referred to a specialist and within 1 month I had the diagnosis... I was dumb struck.. So I had lived with the condition totally without any knowledge till I was 49.

I have ostio-porosis . I have an issue with inflamation of my lower spine and my teeth are brittle...
