I have always had large legs and was always told to lose weight. They kept getting bigger and bigger and finally I could not get pants to fit anymore.
My GP retired and I got a new one. I showed her my legs and she immediately knew what it was. Lipo-lymphedema. She immediately sent me to a intenest and she sent me to a therpist because she was not sure what it was.
The therapist started treatment to remove the fluid. I also have it in both my arms as well as both my legs and the fluid builds up in my abdomen because the duct needs help to open.
