Masto for me seems to come out during my last 2 pregnancies baby number 2 I presented with allergies I had never had and needed to be monitored for the last 6 weeks. Baby was born 37 weeks gestation (Baby 1 at 34 weeks). With baby 3 the symptoms were more intense my specialist believed I was presenting as if I was allergic to pregnancy. I went into labour at 33 weeks gestation I was hospitalised until 36 weeks and medicated to hold off the labour. During this time the spots on my skin came out and I was always itchy. Post pregnancies my condition deteriorated I was often sick and extremely tired.
My journey to get diagnosis started at 2003 with final diagnosis happening in 2006 by bone marrow biopsy. Since I have spent lots of time trying all different paths of treatment alternative and medical.
