How did all start?
Chronic UTI and vaginal infections.
Do you already have a diagnosis? How long did it take you to get it?
After 2 years of recurring infections I was rushed to the hospital from work in excruciating pain. I was then diagnosed with MSK and was passing multiple stones.
For what medical specialties have you been treated? What has been the most useful specialty for your?
Primary care, Nephrologist and Urologist are all essential for the care of MSK. Not to mention pain management.
What has been the most useful thing for you so far?
Pain management
What have been your biggest difficulties?
Not being able to work. Constantly battling infections and stones.
How has your social and family environment reacted? Have your social or family relationships changed?
I was in a toxic relationship where I would criticized over my disabilities.
What things have you stopped doing?
Working, going out as much, working out and running.
What do you think about the future?
That I am just going to forever be plagued with these problems because there isn't a cure.
So far, which years have been the best years in your life? What have you done during them?
Raising my son who is about to turn 18.

Just try not to let it get you down. Enjoy life as much as you can.
