Year Condition Began: 2015

August 2015 i had a 3 day vomiting full vertigo attack that landed me in the hospital. I run an exotic pet rescue from our home and i am caregiver for my adult son with autism so it was very difficult to be so sick. My daughter that lives here too took care of everything. I had attacks every 3 days for several months then had endolymphatic sac decompression surgery and it went down to every few weeks to a month, then i had 4 gentamicin shots in the ear drum and its gone down to attacks every 5 months but still with daily dizziness and off balance. I fall a lot- broke my toes, and recently my femur. I am always exhausted. My daughter and son help out with the animals and my daughter helps with me. I am in vestibular balance therapy and its helping a little. My family is tired of it and wants me to be over it but it isnt going to happen in the near future. The next step is a labrynthectomy which can leave me permanently off balance. im not thrilled about that . i already have less than 20% hearing in the affected ear. I am exhausted, frustrated, angry and depressed.
