I am a 35 year old female and about 10 years ago My liver and kidneys started to fail also my immune system was very low. On top of that is was fatigue most of the days. I was admitted into a hospital had every doctor puzzled. And 30 days later the systems were gone and I felt great. The problem just left in the night up until 4 years ago when the fatigue ,pain, swelling and inflammation came back with a vengeance. I was told I had Lupus and was being treated for the disease for about 4 years until this amazing Rheumatologist came into my life and got me genetic testing that showed me that I had MCTD not SLE Lupus. I am happy that I have awareness to this disease. I am just hopeful that the doctors and scientist become more educated and find more out about it rather suppressing the symptoms.
