I was diagnosed after a stroke right side affected no permanent damage but continue to have severe headaches and increasing vision changes and tia's that leave no trace I keep being told by the medical society that I have to wait and see for progression unfortunately the wait-and-see approach is very dangerous with moyamoya and if we wait too long it will cause disabling damage I still work full-time as a medical assistant for a primary care doctor so I see every day the damage severe Strokes can do. My insurance company fights every move to get second opinions. It is a struggle.
