My Moyamoya

My story started September 28, 2015. I sneezed out of the blue and had a stroke. From that day forward my life has changed drastically.
It took them until January 2016 to finally discover the Moyamoya. Thanks to Dr. Gary Steinberg in California, I was referred to Dr. D.J. Cook in Kingston, Ontario who performed my surgery on May 16, 2016. I had to have an Indirect Bypass as the disease was too far advanced to perform the Direct Bypass.
I am currently waiting for results from 2 last scans so I can return to see my doctor this spring.
