It is not understandable to me why people dont get it. How their scented hairspray makes me cough, wheeze and gasp for air, makes me dizzy, nauseous headache, and my lungs get so sore.. How can I work like this. Some have allergies to mustards or peanuts. I have respect and dont bring those in. I get in trouble for taking too much time off but its my worlplace that makes me ill, not my home. Although I still suffer at home, in a different way, whereas the temp is almost always 15 to 17 as I cannot tolerate the heat. We moved here for the electric heat, well water and no GAS. I have improved immensly here. My last house was heated with gas and I was very very sick. Here I can tolerate a bit more electric heat. There is no Chlorine in my tap water :-), and the water table here is low compared to my other house. I am also very happy for the little button in my car that closes all gaps to outside air, when following large trucks & buses..Their fumes make me sick. I have people at work who know of my condition and say" Nat, I will just be here just a few minutes"..I am thinking " WHAT????" What are you thinking?, its like saying... Let me run over you slowly...Sad to say, but I wish these people could experience it just for 5 minutes. They would ALL change their attitudes.

Yes!!!! If they could just have one sniff of smoke or perfume and then cough for hours. If they could be stuck someplace with multiple cleaners, air freshners and numerous other common fumes and then have headaches, earaches, bronchitis and sinus infections that last for a week or more. If just....then maybe they would understand that it is way more than just not liking something.
