A Multiple Systems Atrophy story

Apr 14, 2016

Diagnosed with olivoponto cellebrar degeneration (re-classified as MSA-C) finally Jan 2005. Symptoms starting appearing in 2003. Family/friends/doctor just thought I was a drunk (speech and balance loss).

Doctor sent me to a neurologist after liver tests came back negative, and sister contacted him to tell him "this was not right, that something was wrong".

I was told to get "my affairs in order", that I would be in a wheelchair by 2010 (still using a walker), and dead in 2013 (at the latest). Ooopps. Screwed up.
