Error
I was diagnosed in 2008 but had symptoms since 2005. Started out with occular MG. That went on for a yr and then MG went generalized. About 4 yrs after that MG started to affect all my bulbar muscles. The first time it paralized my tongue I thought I was having a stroke! Swallowing, eating, breathing & chewing became difficult. I had a swallow test done & found out that the top 1/3rd of my esophagus only worked at 5% of its capcity. Then had a gastroscopy and the surgeon said there were no stuctural problems that he could fix with a stent, that it was all MG related. That is when I began IVIG treatments.
