Hattie is now nearly 5 years old- she was diagnosed with MG in summer 2013 at age 2 1/2. She had a thymectomy this past March 2015 and just weaned off steroids, which she has been on since diagnosis. She had a positive antibody blood test for her diagnosis. She has never been in a crisis, but we travel to Denver for her treatment. Mestinon did not work for her- she was only on it for 2 weeks at the start of her diagnosis. I am her mom- I am also a nurse. I just started a new non profit with other MG caregivers that is a national endeavor- it is called MGKids.org
