What is wrong with my short term memory?

Hi I'm Becky. I have Associates degree as Occupational Theapy Assistant. We deal with cognition a lot. I knew my short term memory was off. Can't remember movies we have seen, and many other area's. I mentioned to Sleep Speciaist and Primary care Dr. Both laughed it off and said it is our age (54). No testing done. I had head on roll over accident few weeks later. I thought I felt better than usual that afternoon. I didn't even know how wreck occurred. I heard sound in slow motion when cars collided. I only saw white with little color. Had lots of testing done. Turned out to be N. Since I didn't feel sleepy/tired at time of accident so now I don't drive at all. I have felt tired since middle school. I thought it was from being overweight and from depression all those years. I would really like to start a face to face support group for people with N in Oklahoma!!
