Runs in my dad family

I grow up with OPMD. My granddad suffered it and now my dad as well. I always lived with the fear to have it as I saw how bad this illness can affect the person. And now since several months I can say that I am also affected. It started already around 4 years ago with problems with swallowing meat and since some months, something strange happened and I could not swallow any solids anymore. Now I started again eating solids but with difficulty but I cannot swallow meat at all. 

I am now under investigations in order to have the confirmation, however I know I do have OPMD. Now I am just preparing for what will come and at the same time I am with the hope that very soon we can have a treatment in order to cure this ugly disease and not have to go through what my granddad went and my father is going.
