I am alive but I wish they had taken the leg off on one of the two occassions I went down to have it amputated. Of course you can live after Osteo but it wont be a painless life far from it.

I have learnt to always be a positive thinker and believe in God more. When I was 16 my doctor had recommended amputation of my right leg to prevent spreading of the problem to the upper parts of the body. My father was reluctant to sign the theater consent documents and went home before he did it. The next day, through faith, I was riding a bicycle at the hospital compound, which shocked everyone including the doctor himself.
The amputation surgery recommendation was withdrawn.
To be happy I am always encouraging people in distress and showing them the reason to be happy with their lives, no matter how hard it seems. I have a story to tell. Again I have always know that whenever the problem recurs, its is god speaking to my life indirectly, so I'm always praying to God to reveal to me His message.

What a load of rubbish. Had you truly been diagnosed and suffering from Osteomyelitis one day you would not have been riding a bike the following day. Once again another one for whom god cured but there are no real facts to back it up. So much better to put your faith in the surgeons who actually do all the hard work in actual sufferers to finely get rid of this awful illness of which you know nothing.

Just learn to live with it! Do everything you are able to do and make the most of it! Take one day at a time and seize that day!
