Error
I am a carer for my wife who started this bumpy and horrible journey in December 2014. Following several Dr appointments and wrongfully diagnosed and treated for thrush (even though 6 weeks prescribed medication wasn't working !), my wife was eventually referred to Oral Medicine clinic by our dentist at end March 2015, with confirmed diagnosis (following biopsy) mid May 2015. Diagnosed Oral Pemphigus Vulgaris and started on medication beginning June 2015. Upto 80mg pred for 1 month, then tapering down whilst on Azothioprine (75 mg). Now down to 15 mg pred /day. PV symptoms in mouth healed .... but battling pred side effects !
