Story about Peripheral Neuropathy .

Polyarteritis nodosa

Jan 11, 2016

After many years of ulcers on my feet and ankles and so many doctors and specialists telling me weird and wonderful stories I gave up hope. Of ever finding help. The ulcers lasted anything from 6 months to 2 years. And the pain,it was sooooo bad.Plus I was working and on my feet all day.I finally found a general practitioner who sent me to a rhymatoligest and knew right off what was wrong. He started a concoction of drugs. Which gave me relief very soon Unfortunatly he went to Australia and passed me on to the most fabulous rhymatoligest, then after a couple of years she went into research , we shifted and I got a rhym,he talked to me like I was faking it after  two years of putting up with him I end up with no specialist. Now I am stable and have stopped taking methotrexate and prednisone and keep ing my fingers crossed.I have an awful lot of severe pain, that might last one day or a couple of weeks and some days feel like I gave been run over by a bus.I am at a loss as what to do and just hope I don't have a big flare
