Hi my name is Dee I'm a mother of four beautiful children-breast feed all of them. Had mastitis with all of them? Not sure if related? Had a 2cm phyllode Tumor removed in 2008, it was benign they didn't say much to me just that it was not cancerous. So continued life had my fourth child in 2009. Got a lump November 2015 had tested came back benign so I thought(as my Gp in 2007 suggested I should just monitor the lump and not remove it) I should just keep an eye on it. It grew to 6cm X 5cm from December to March my new GP called me and said I should get it checked out. My specialist who is amazing dr noushi recommended a mastectomy so now two weeks since my op which came back borderline. I'm now on the road to recovery. Feeling lucky that it's gone but sad that I now have lost my right breast. Might have to have radiotherapy then reconstruction later in the year. X hope this helps others out there don't wait get them cut out ASAP X Dee
