I discovered lump 10+ years ago, UTMB diagnosis fibro adenoma. I opted out of getting removed becz the Dr said I didn't need to. 2017 noticed that lump growing rapidly 16 cm over a 3 month period. I went to ER on the night of my oldest sister birthday, Dr said worst case scenario breast cancer. Fear kicked in, I was given anxiety meds. Got a CT done, everything clear. Went to Dr. Sinha, he said the same, breast cancer, but wanted to get biopsy done to say exactly what kind of breast cancer, Diagnoses March 5, Phyllodes. March 9th I had surgery , Modified Radical Mastectomy w frozen section. Margins were good 2.5cm margins. Mitotic level 44 which the Dr said is what made it high grade. The surgery was a success per Dr. Sinha. No lymph nodes were removed. I'm on my 3rd week of radiation, so far so good. Very good support from family friends and facebook group. Very informative
