Yes they can work. For the first few months, indoor desk bound work. Once body has stabilize from fatigue or aches / pain, other normal work can be done including carrying light weights with discretion.

People who have had a PT can work. There are no areas of work unsuitable for someone who had had a PT, though stress should be avoided.

Phyllodes tumour in some can cause some pain in the breast. This is often due to compression of the tumour in the breast tissues. Cysts may in some accompany the tumour. There are no restrictions with work per PT. It is very important to have the tumour excised with margins. Growth suddenly and quickly is often a pattern of PT. The only means to correctly diagnose PT is by surgery. Core biopsies may or may not diagnose PT. The tumour often has mixed types of cells some FA and some PT or others. If the core biopsy is not taken in a the correct spot then the results may not be accurate. Needle biopsies are not recommended for this reason as the sample is too narrow to be accurate.

It is important to be monitored routinely following a diagnosis of PT and to investigate any new lumps by a medical person. Make sure you advise practitioners that are new you have had a history of PT as it is unique.

Yes Working is ok - but please remember to be kind to yourself! Dontnover do things and it’s best to keep physical excerption to a minimum directly after your return to work.

Yes the tumour should not stop the ability to work unless going through treatment where your body needs to recover. The ability to lift heavy lids may be restricted

I worked in an office and believe anyone with a PT could work in any position.

Any work is good, after excision a period of rest between 7 to 10 days is advisable if you have a physycal work.
A office job can be resume after 3 days
