My lung collapsed spontaneously when one of the blebs on my left lung burst. This was in September 2014, about 2 weeks before my 21st birthday. I spent almost two weeks at Holy Redeemer Hospital and had the talc pleurodesis surgery to resuspend my lung. Not a day goes by that I don't think about it since I still have twinges regularly and it feels different to breathe on the left side now.
