On Christmas eve 2016 I woke up could Not move or raise my arms. Severe pain in shoulders, wrist and hands.needed help to get out of bed. Could not get off commode. Needed assistance putting coat on and off. I was terrified. After a few weeks I was able to locate a great rheumatologist. He took additional blood work compared to January labs done by my gp.sed rate very high as well as c-reactive test. He confirmed Polymyalgia  Rheumatica. Honestly Never heard of it so I researched and researched. I was started 15mg prednizone now lowered to 10mg. Honestly not doing great on 10mg. Feet swelling, shortness of breath . Cranky and shaky. > need this to end already but can't rush things don't want a full blown flare. Please let family members know what you are going through it can be very lonely dealing with this alone.
