How did all start?

I went on a mission trip to India and came back with an intestinal bacteria infection. That mixed with carrying the gene, Hla b27+ is what caused it.

Do you already have a diagnosis? How long did it take you to get it?

Yes. I was fortunate to be referred to an infectious disease doctor that tested me for the gene once I explained all of my symptoms.

For what medical specialties have you been treated? What has been the most useful specialty for your?

I take many supplements and was on Minocyline for a year and then doxycycline for about 6 months. I also took Tramadol for pain. I have been symptom free ever since I started the AIP (Autoimmune Protocol Diet)
