Situs Inversus

I was not diagnosed until I was 48 and this was only because I had a CT scan for pain on the left lower abdomen which turn out to be diverticulitis.
I knew my stomach was on the right as I had a barium meal X-ray done and diagnosed with hiatus hernia the year before, the Dr spotted it. But not the other organs although he did say he would be interested to know where the other organs were.
Kinda odd as I had a liver scan and they never said anything and they would have been scanning the wrong side very worrying! Surface to say not sure if these issue are anything to do with my flipped organs although all my life if I lie to the right my stomach gurgled I always thought this was normal until my hubby said it’s not and I can only burp when laying on my right. Or leaning that way.
Explains a lot when I was lying on my left to relieve acid reflux and it was making it worse.
This was not the only condition I was born with I also had congenital dislocation of both hips scoliosis lower back and cleft lip and palate.
So with the visible disabilities they didn’t check for any internal ones, also it was 1970.
