Story about Dupuytrens Contracture .

Plantar Fibromatosis

Jan 2, 2016

By: Laurie

The first 2 years of lumps growing on both feet were not painful. I had an MRI to rule out cancer. The following two years were very painful. I had physical therapy with some electrodes hooked up and a pulsating anti inflamitory hooked to my feet. I've tried Voltaren ointment. And then onto a pain therapy clinic. I have socks tens unit.

I have orthodics and always wear good athletic shoes.

I am on year five and had two rounds of radiation therapy. 5 days each with 4 weeks in between. My treatment was done by Dr. Dusenberry at the U. Of M.

My pain has changed. It maybe slightly better, it is hard to tell. I think the lumps have gone down a little.

Final RT was the end of October 2015.

Oh, I forgot the cortiane shots. Not surprising. I try to forget about that torture, which did not help.
