Burning stomach and feeling like food was stuck in my throat.

Yes. 6 months to diagnose.

What has been the most useful thing for you so far?

Team of exceptional doctors who helped me

What have been your biggest difficulties?

Needing a feeding tube for three months and living in pain.

How has your social and family environment reacted? Have your social or family relationships changed?

My family and friends have been a huge support.

What do you think about the future?

I hope that my surgery provides relief.

What would you like to do if you didn’t have your condition?

Go out to eat and enjoy myself.

If you had to describe your life in a sentence, what would it be?

I am lucky to be a thriving young woman with a great support system.

Finally, what advice would you give to a person in a similar situation?

Don’t give up!!!
