Realized for years was told I had tmj until a wonderful doctor listened and realized it affected pain in eye to nose and jaw and ear. Was unilateral. Been on carmazapine for 4 months waiting and saving up for MRI as I don't have insurance at moment and income will not qualify me for medicaid. But I have to call in when I'm having flare ups which are happening more often now
