i got TN on 24th Dec 2002, it came out of nowhere.
i had my first MVD in the next May, clear large compression. Pain came back after about 3 months. Second MVD included a partial rhizotomy, left me with far more constant pain. Third MVD removed the Teflon, gave me a year of reduced pain. Left me with some AD.
in 2009 I had a motor cortex stimulator implanted (Wales would t pay for deep brain stimulation, my first choice) it's worked on and off and I've had a lot of further ops to sort out wire issues. Currently it's actually working a bit but I'm still very disabled from the constant severe pain.
