Have tried all medications available.  None of the pain medications worked, and none of the seizure, or other,  meds could be tolerated because of my weakness with my MS.

In the beginning after trying medications without any success, I did acupuncture for about a year. I can't say that it really helped.  I did have a gamma knife surgery about 4  years ago. It wasn't like it help me immediately, but now that I look back my husband and I realize it probably did lesson my pain for a couple of years.

I think I've been using a couple shots of alcohol as my medication for about four years now. It's the only thing that lessens my pain. It literally stop an attack immediately,  for anywhere from four hours, to the rest of my day.

In the past year I have had three nerve blocks, and most recently a rhysotomy.  I had some  relief from all of these but never enough that I could stop having to get his alcohol.

As for now, I'm just hanging in there for the next hopeful solution!
