Mom to affected children

I am the blessed mom to three amazing children.  Two of my children have bleeding disorders.  My son has a moderate to severe platelet storage pool disorder and my youngest has both VWD type 1 and a platelet storage pool disorder.   My oldest son has neither and at this point seems unaffected.  We have learned a great deal about VWD and the platelet storage pool disorder.  So far my son has had the most issues with it but as he is getting older the episodes are becoming less frequent.  We know my daughter has the two conditions but we don't know if the conditions will affect her menses.... that process is quickly approaching so we are just waiting to see what may be on store for us.

We are blessed to have a great group of doctors and specialist that are well versed in these conditions. Many hugs to all you out there who are also on this journey.
