Story about Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome .

Cheryl's Story

Sep 4, 2017

By: Cheryl

I found out I had WPW about 20 years ago. I would faint occasionally, but on this one particular time I decided to go to the hospital. I found out my condition was present since birth. I am not a candidate for an ablation because of the position on my muscle. I am a mother of five, and I will be 50 years old this year. I manage my condition with blood pressure medication, exercise, and prayers. When I have an attack, I cough and place ice on my chest until it settles.
