Hi All,
Is anyone aware of Cinryze experiencing a shortage supply? If so, why and where is this shortage (US or Europe)?

Several patients in the US have received either an email or letter from shire informing of the shortage. At this time pharmacys are sending out 2doses weekly per patient rather than a months supply at a time. The production has not stopped for Cinryze , it just isn't being produced in such a mass amount as before. I suspect donated blood i.e. Plasma availability MAY be the reasoning however I do not have info confirming such. It is simply my opinion
