39th Birthday
Error
I suffered a Type A Thoracic Aortic Dissection in my 39th birthday which was caused by an aneurysm rupturing at the root of my heart. I dissected in my ascending and descending aorta and open heart surgery repaired the ascending aorta only. The descending aorta has been left to heal on its own and is doing so very slowly. Learning to live life with a new normal and I’m physically unable to return to work.
