My daughter Braedyn was diagnosed with BA at 3 1/2 months old. This felt like the world had just crashed down on us. She is a #BAWARRIOR and was transplanted with a while baby liver on Dec 31st 2008. The best Happy New z Year's anyone could ask for. She was the size on maybe a 3 month old baby. She was about 16 lbs when she had her transplant. Today she is 9 and doing GREAT! She loves to sing, dance, play with her friends and school. Yes, we will see how long the school thing lasts. She has been admitted to the hospital several times after her transplant. All I wanted was to make that 6 moth mark of not being in the hospital, and we got almost 3 years. Couldn't be happier. My thoughts and prayers to all the other BA families.
