I lost my hearing over 2 years ago and all the doctors at camp lejeune kept telling me it was just ear infections. When my husband got orders to California my husband thought I was having a stroke because the right side of my face started to droop. He took me to the ER, they did a CT scan and found the mass behind my ear. I was quickly referred to my ENT at navel and that's when I found out exactly what j had! That I have a ctoma. It was removed and we thought it was gone for good. We were wrong, I recently had another CT scan and one has come back and I'm set to have it removed in June. I just recently had tubes put in, fluid removed and the eardrum re set because it was retracted again.
