How did all start?

3 knee operations in less than 2 months in 1993.

Do you already have a diagnosis? How long did it take you to get it?

Yes. One month.

For what medical specialties have you been treated? What has been the most useful specialty for your?

RSD/CRPS. Pain management physician/clinic.

What has been the most useful thing for you so far?

Vicodin, morphine

What have been your biggest difficulties?

Pain mgmt doctor cut me off from all pain meds 6 years ago. I’m going untreated now.

How has your social and family environment reacted? Have your social or family relationships changed?

Social? Changed for the worse.

What things have you stopped doing?

Being happy all the time. Going out. Hiking. Dancing.

What do you think about the future?

I don’t.

So far, which years have been the best years in your life? What have you done during them?

Pre-1993. I had a good life.

What would you like to do if you didn’t have your condition?

More than just exist and suck air.

If you had to describe your life in a sentence, what would it be?

Great to good to bad to awful to wish I was dead.

Finally, what advice would you give to a person in a similar situation?
