My experience with crps

Year Condition Began: 2013

Fell off motor scooter, very small hairline fracture in right hand. Would not stop hurting, hurting more everyday. My physician sent me to a hand surgeon who sent me to Theraphy. That is where it was determined i had crps. Doctor tells me not to look it up on internet so naturally i do. Freaked out! Got on opioids, muscle relaxant topamax and cymbalta. At this point i had a pain management doctor. About 18 months later i fell and broke my right shoulder and was sure it would spread. I had been taking large dosage of vit c and i think that helped. I realized because of all the drugs, my brain and legs were not really talking. As soon as i healed from shoulder, i started taking my self off meds and i had gotten into gluten free diet with no sugar. I take no drugs now and have probably 85% use of my hand and have continued to build it up.
