A Cyclic vomiting syndrome story

I've had this over 20 years. My episodes started right around my 21st birthday. They were long attacks at first lasting weeks. I was reduced to 98 lbs (previously 160). Over the years, I haven't had any luck medically at hospitals or with doctors. I usually tough it out at home. My epsiodes have altered. I get sick for one or two days violently about every 4-6 weeks. I have a few day recovery period. It's a bitch to live with. I'm tired of not being able to live a normal life all the time. I feel for each and every one of you with this. They used to say I would grow out of it, but at this point over 20 years later, I'm pretty skeptical. Here's to not giving up hope that someday we can end this wretched syndrome that plagues so many. ♥
