My son's CVS story
Error
We were in the hospital after I had his new little sister. He threw up and I thought he had the flu. Soon I realized that nobody else got sick. I started noticing cycles where he would vomit, and when it would stop he was immediately fine. Over time, they were more frequent, and lasted longer. I took him to our family doctor, who recognized the symptoms as CVS. He then referred us to a pediatric gastroenterologist who gave us the definitive diagnosis after 6 years. We are very fortunate to have such amazing doctors near us, and a family doctor who I trust with our lives.
