A year after my second daughter was born we had a picture taken with Santa and someone noticed her eyes were crossed. I made a point to say no they aren't I know exactly what she was looking at and it looks like one eye just isn't looking. They disagreed but I did my own look this way look that way test and sure enough I was right. I called the doctor the next day who suggested Duane syndrome but couldn't verify without me seeing a specialist. I was told to go right there and the doctor waited for me. It was after 4 and she did the exam and verified what the other doctor suggested. Right before her 3rd birthday she has surgery because her head started to turn in when she was looking straight. 6 months later she had a follow up when the doctor suggested glasses for her to focus straight because she refused to patch her eye. Madison goes for 6 month check ups and so far so good.
